He is like Top Ramen, but better.

Last night I came home from school to my house smelling like fish. Evan hashed some salmon stuffed with a dill couscous, made the bed, and managed to buy 6 (count them 6!) giant tubs of cookie dough for our ward’s Mother’s Day celebration. At ten o’clock at night, while I was on Facebook, he was sorting out home teaching lists and making reminder calls for Elder’s Quroum. He makes my breakfast vita-boost shake every morning while I blow-dry my hair, and doesn’t say a word when I want to forget dinner and go to Dairy Queen instead. Today he has some really important work things going on that he graciously doesn’t burden me down with the gory details, but I know that whatever he decides to do and whatever path he chooses it will always be the best decision. Because that is the way he is.
