I couldn’t sleep last night because the snow just kept falling from the sky. I’ve never seen so much snow in my entire life.
Evan is fighting a cold (that I brought home last week) and slept soundly in our warm bed while I watched the stillness of winter from our window.
My office building experienced a power outage and the roads were in terrible condition so Evan and I stayed home and worked in our pajamas. What a fascinating world it is to email a co-worker stuck in Phoenix, talk to a reporter in Washington D.C. and still have time to make edamame for lunch.

How nice to be able to work at home and not have to go out in the snow. Snow is so much nicer if you don’t have to drive in it. I love to just watch it too.
